Jefferson County Junior Baseball League

Jefferson County Junior Baseball administers league play for single, pure age groups for 8 through 14 year old players, and combined aged groups for 15 through 18 year olds. In most age groups, 4 levels of play are offered(Majors, AAA, AA, and A Leagues), allowing players of similar skill levels to play together. Level III and Seniors programs also are offered for high school age players. The League provides organized baseball for approximately 8000 participants: 2300 younger children play T-Ball or machine pitch, 5200 in the 8 - 14 year old age groups, and 500 high school aged player in the Level III and Seniors programs.

The Level 3 program was initiated to continue the spring high school program for freshmen and sophomores in Jefferson County after R1 discontinued funding for the program. It is not associated with CHSAA.

The Seniors program consists of high school age teams composed of players who are not playing in the high school American Legion program, but who nonetheless want to participate in organized play during the summer.
